These are some of the skies I’ve captured. The first is a shot taken at extreme dusk. The color is amazing. The second shot was also taken at late dusk, but at the end of a really hot day, and the sky had an eerie red-tint to it. I pushed the red hard in post for drama. The third shot was an off-the-cuff shot taken as I was getting into my car. I thought the sun’s rays seemed like dozens of arms desperately to hold on to the day. The final shot was taken during a recent vacation to the beach. There was a blanket of clouds out near the horizon that delayed the visible sunrise.
