They look at me like I'm crazy, but I just say look at them and laugh back. God is real in every aspect. I don't believe in coincedences. I believe everything happens for a reason, because God saw fit for it to. We don't receive checks in the mail from a bill collector just because. That is a way of God blessing us. We don't get healed from diseases just because. God is a big God, and nothing is impossible for him as long as we have faith and believe that it's possible. God says to have faith as small as a grain of a mustard seed, and we can move mountains. Great word Herb! The rich man wanted Lazarus to go back and warn his family, but Abraham told him that if they wouldn't believe the eternal word and prophets, they wouldn't believe a person come back to life. You have to believe to see it. We get so confused sometimes. Thanks Herb. I finally got to read it and it is a great post! :) It reminds me of Jesus’ story of Lazarus and the rich man. Here's a quick story about what happened last night. I was all geared up to go on a road bike trip. We were going to put in about 30 miles or so. Anyways as I was loading my bike on the truck I set my phone on the bumper of the truck, and yes you know the rest of the story. It feel off just out of the drive way. I got down to the corner and realized what I did. I turned around and started looking for the phone. Maybe 2/10ths of a mile, it was no where to be found. I walked up and down the road several times and could not find it. A few hours later a girl that lives on the next road over calls my wife and tells here that she has the phone and we can get it after she gets done with bible study. I get the phone back unbroken, in perfect working order. Now I ask you, do you think that God had nothing to do with that? I think he saved me from something that was going to happen on my bike ride. What a great and loving God we have. God is involved in everything. Here’s a quick story about what happened last night.
