You make a monumental statement here which is fabulous. The stones are what help us to set our hope fully on Christ being revealed (1 Pet 1:13). They are inklings, longings, testiments, reminders of what it is going to be like to be fully reunited with Christ, our King. They are just shadows of a greater reality. They should point us to that ultimate Hope, the actual reality, all things new, His kingdom come. I'm chewing on this one still......
